This may be a little known but valuable fact about the difference between the Black DI & Red VTDIs. Obeid Khan told me the "Red one is just slightly smaller and doesn't have the relay bypass "safety" feature when u turn it off. Red one is always a tube di. Black one will act as passive di when u power it off."
Nice to know if you ever just need/want it to function as a passive DI.
