I bought four sets of these over the summer. I tried on a set and it had weird chorusy sounds on my fretless bass. I called up LaBella, and the contact suggested I try on another set, which I did and got the same result. Eventually, I got LaBella to send some replacement strings (of another type). They only sent three sets, not four, but I'm sick of dealing with the back and forth and just want to move on.
It's possible that: 1) these don't go well with my bass (which is 34.5" scale and has Duncan jazz pickups and a Hipshot bridge), 2) I didn't put them on correctly (don't think so, but whatever), or 3) these are defective in some way.
So given that, I'll ship a pair of barely used and new Supersteps (two sets) for $18. If someone wants to buy all four sets, I'd do that for $30.
