For sale Lace Alumatone Single Chrome

I bought this for a project bass but changed my mind and never installed it. It’s a single coil but it’s sized for a Strat which means it could be used for a Fender Bronco or equivalent, etc. Healthy amount of wire. New, these are price around $115-$120 plus shipping.

Constructed with aluminum rather than copper, Lace Alumitone Pickups have a current-driven design as opposed to conventional pickups, which are voltage-based.

The aluminum water jet cut exoskeleton is mated with a micro-winding using 90% less copper wire than traditional designs for an extremely lightweight and efficient pickup. Sonically, this gives these guitar pickups more volume, more bass, and more pronounced mids with nice, clear, smooth high frequency response that cuts.
