Details

I have a hankering for a Sadowsky Satin series but too many basses and no available coin. So I thought I would throw this up and see if there might be an opportunity to make a trade.

This is a 1999 Lakland, #323. Orange translucent, quilted maple top. Tremendous birdseye maple board. Bartolini's as expected for this year. Excellent condition, the only blemish being a scratch on the horn, backside.

PM me with any interest or questions. Thanks for looking!

Do you have a weight for this bass?

By the way, I have a great Sadowsky NYC Satin Series bass that I might consider trading for this bass, and I am very close to NJ ( 10 miles from Trenton in Bucks County, PA).

I don't have an exact weight but the bathroom scale says 8.5 lbs. It feels lighter to me but who knows.

At 8.5 lbs, I MAY have to pass on a trade of my Satin Series Sadowsky. I am in the hospital (back issues, including degenerative disk disease and spinal stenosis), and I may be having spinal surgery, although it doesn't appear to be an immediate necessity. With back and shoulder issues, every ounce matters to me.

I am sorry to hear about your condition, that's terrible. I will try to get an exact weight, as I said, bathroom scale and not the most reliable. Regardless, I hope you feel better and if you decide you want to swap, let me know.

I will definitely consider a swap, if the weight is closer to 8 lbs.

Hopefully, somebody didn't already beat me to that Lakland. I should be getting out of the hospital late today, or early tomorrow, and I can take some photos of my Satin Series Sadowsky. In the meantime, I will try and find the thread here from which I bought that bass and forward it to you.

The link to the Talkbass thread that I bought this bass from won't copy properly to my phone, so I will have to wait until I get home and am able to sit down at my computer.
