I purchased a Roscoe bass from this seller. It arrived with tone pots that were loose and the treble pot was making a loud buzzing sound that sounded like the instrument was poorly shielded. It also looked like at some point someone used round wounds on this fretless, because there was some heavy scratching on the fingerboard, which caused a noticeable buzzing sound around the 7th fret area on the D string. None of this was advertised in the listing. This instrument had a very dark tone and immediately I knew that it wasn't going to produce the voicing that I needed, so I asked the seller if a return would be acceptable and graciously he accepted. I shipped the bass back in the original packaging with additional foam padding and it arrived next day. I opened a dispute with Paypal which is the standard process as I am aware since the seller now had my money and his bass, and soon after I was issued a refund. The trouble really began at this point. I spent hours on the phone with Paypal clarifying procedures and policies because the seller notified me that he had not been refunded his original seller fee. Paypal ensured me that their system refunds seller fees at the same time as a purchase is being refunded. I got all of this in writing from Paypal. I made multiple calls to Paypal on behalf of the seller on my own dime. According to Paypal the seller has been refunded, he still denies this and has decided to portray me as being fraudulent and not upholding my end of the bargain. At the end of the day I was still sold a bass that was different than described and I am out $100 on the deal. I would be very careful before starting an online transaction with this seller, it has caused much more headache than it was worth.

Was a pleasure to purchase from. Gracious while dealing with my multiple, maybe never ending questions (my first Roscoe). Instrument was in immaculate condition, safely packed. Would definitely purchase from seller again...
