Just curious, did you take those off yourself? And if so how did you do it? I started to on my 112 but was worried about it not going to smooth.

I did take them off myself. The adhesive is pretty strong. My technique = removing the grill and softening the glue with a heatgun (hair dryer) from the back. then cleanup with alcohol of goop off.
