2015 Maruszczyk Jake 5A, original owner, purchased directly from Adrian in May, 2015.
$1000 shipped, CONUS only, PayPal ok. Not interested in trades.
I have a rosewood board PJ fiver and wanted to hear what a maple board sounded like, didn't find much difference, and have since migrated back to 4 strings.
Very little play time on this bass. There is only one nick, as pictured below, above the input jack.
Also pictured are small to tiny spots on the lacquer that have come up, for lack of any better term. There was one spot when I got the bass so I contacted Adrian about it. There are several more now but no more have appeared in over a year. All are pictured.
Adrian's reply:
I tried using Warwick wax on them, no change. I bought the poly but never did the job, they don't really bother me much.
Bass will ship in the Musicians Gear MGMBG Molded ABS Electric Bass Case I purchased for it, and pictured below.
Details from website when ordered:
Have not weighed it but has to be in the 9 lb range.
that's not a mark in the middle, it's wood grain.
tan spots in next 3 photos are the lacquer lifts
and the one nick

Adrian's reply:
We use a poly urethane lacquer from the Italian company ICA. But you can use any polyurethane lacquer to fix. This instrument is in matte finish, so you can also use wax polish.
