Hi. It is designed to replicate the ashly sc-40 preamp that Geddy Lee used. It can be used as a regular 3 band eq pedal but also has a distortion feature that was originally an option if you modified the sc 40. The tones are mostly vintage like but can get some modern sounds with some tweaking.
