I was going through some boxes and found this single unused Gold Maxima .120 string (Maxima Manufacturing Company, Germany). I purchased a 5 string set years ago for a 4 string jazz with gold hardware and just placed this sting to the side. If anyone would like this single "unique" string, I would be happy to provide it free if you just send $2 for shipping (lets keep it to the 48 states so that a couple of dollars covers postage).
Who knows, it might look cool as the B on your 5 string. All you have to lose is a 2 dollars.
FYI - I don't believe these are made any longer. When they were new, the company claimed the gold plating made them last longer!
