Miles of tone with this silverface Walkabout. If you know, well.... but if you don't, it's a hybrid amp with 6 tube driven mosfets in the power section and a 2 tube pre-amp. It puts out 300 watts at 4 ohms and 165 @ 8 ohms. The amp is 13 lbs. It has a side handle. There is a white mark on the top as seen in the image. It no longer has the rubber feet on the bottom as it was housed in a headcase for the last few years. They were glued on from the person I bought it from; a fellow TB'er and it would be easy to find some similar. The power cord will be included.
Reason for selling is it is not getting used. I fired it up recently and it sounds great.

I have both a silverface and blackface, and to be honest can't tell a tonal difference. One advantage of the blackface is more cooling ventilation slots on the top, helps the amp run cooler (for longevity) during heavy use.

One diff I understand it that newer models have a single input jack with an active/passive toggle installed in place of the second input.
My old red-face had the update installed by a certified technician.
The Walkabout threads here could reveal other differences.

Does that aluminum case go on in place of or over the Walkabout's current top? Do the rack ears mount to it, only, or will they fit on the WA, as-is?

The case mounts using some longer screws and spacers in place of the side screws on tge actual WA chassis. The ears are angled and screw into the sides near the front. It's a two space.
