Up for sale is my Milkman Half & Half 700. Absolutely killer amp here. Milkman builds some solid stuff, and this amp is no exception. Completely hand-wired, tube preamp, Class D power amp - I mean, honestly, does it get any better? Ok, maybe a nice Philly cheesesteak, fries and an ice cold beer *might* be better...but only if you're consuming said foodstuffs while listening to a bassist rock a Milkman Half & Half with a mint, super rare Antigua Jazz Bass. Just saying.
The amp is in mint condition...honestly, I think I've gigged this amp only a few times, which should be considered a felony - it deserves so much more attention. Other than that, it's had a nice, smoke-free existence, sitting atop my favorite bass cabs in my home studio. I'd also point out that it has a great-sounding DI, so that's nice. I swear, this amp paired with a couple of sweet 1x12 cabs is nirvana. Fight me.
I'm selling this sweet beast for a mere $950 shipped CONUS. If you're in the Denver metro area, I'll knock off $100, so long as you include a sixer of your favorite IPA or stout. If you happen to hit on one of my favorite local beers, I'll knock off $150, because I like beer.

The 700W Half and Half is where the old technology meets the new technology. The preamp is similar to the other all tube Milkman amplifiers: it is hand wired with high plate voltage. The discrete tube preamp section feeds into a Class D power module which scales up to 700 watts. Its the most transparent and exciting sounding hybrid amplifier on the market.
Unlike other hybrid amplifiers, the tube portion of the Half and Half is designed and built like a vintage tube amplifier. Its not shoehorned into a circuitboard and running at low voltage. Tube amps need to be built a certain way to sound their best, be serviceable, and last into the ages. The Half and Half was designed with all of this in mind.
A DI with XLR output with level control has been added to the rear panel. This allows you to use the amplifier as a standalone tube preamp with EQ. It is safe to run the Half and Half with no speaker attached, or you can use the DI with a speaker attached for a balanced XLR line out.
Like all Milkman amplifiers, the Half and Half is built using the finest possible components. This model is available with 2 finish options: Vanilla, and Classic Black
