Moollon J5 with a one piece maple neck and alder body. Most of you know the magic of Moollon and the tone they capture. With the long wait times and a lot of the extra options Moollon once offered, unfortunately some of the features of this bass are now discontinued which include block inlays and binding as well as the pickups appear to be in the 70s position
I got this in a trade and the previous owner mentioned that the bass was serviced by Moollon back in 2021-2022 for a faulty truss rod. The truss rod was replaced by YJ and sent back to him.
I had this recently serviced and also set up by my local luthier, who I asked to help notch out a truss access under the pickguard so I didn't have to keep taking the neck off to adjust. Now it's as simple and fuss free.
