Been researching this di. The only bass video I found sounded great but didn't try to showcase any 'clean' attributes. The driven sounds I liked though.... Does the Mozztronics clean up with the gain down & is the output strong with the gain down? (By "strong output" I mean close to line level)

Yes, it can produce a nice clean tube sound without too much grit.
