I recently picked up this MTD 534-24 / with 17mm string spacing...it's a phenomenal bass, but I'm really jonesing for a Sadowsky - preferably a 24 Fret 5.
This bass has been meticulously cared for. Regularly cleaned, polished, and fretboard oiled.
Specs:
- US MTD 534-24/17mm
- Serial: 2464011514
- Weight: 8.6lbs
- Year: 2014
- Poplar body
- Myrtle Burl top
- Maple neck
- Honduran Rosewood Fingerboard
- Luminlay Side Dots
- Buzz Feiten Tuning System
- 34" scale length
- 24 frets
- Custom Bartolini Pickups
- Three Position Mids Switch (down position is lower 250, center is middle 500, and up is upper mids 1000
- Custom Hardshell MTD Case (latches have a bit of rust on them but everything works perfectly)
- Paperwork from Michael Tobias
The bass is extremely easy to play with the 17mm string spacing. I can easily go between this and my 18 and 19mm basses with no issues at all.
I'm looking to trade for a NYC Sadowsky 5 string. The trade value on my bass is $4500.
