Letting go of this well-played MTD 535/21 from 1997/98. It has obviously seen a lot of gigs in the last 25 years, and if you pick it up, you’ll know why! Great player with the classic, articulate MTD tone: solid wenge neck and fretboard with optional fretboard dots. Combined with the 2-tone burst finish on the solid avidore (satinwood) body, it has a classic look that fits into a gospel gig or a blues dive bar!
I picked this up just a couple of months ago, and I’d hang onto it, except I have a Martin Keith custom getting finished soon and I could use the cash.
Comes with Hipshot hardware and MTD custom spec Bartolini pickups and preamp, along with the MTD hard shell case.
Weight is 8.8 lb. Scale length is 35”, with 19mm spacing at the bridge and 1.75” width at the nut.
