Serious feeler thread here. Looking to possibly trade my new MTD 535-24. This bass was completed in 2017 but I bought it brand new last week from Ultimate Basses in Guelph Ontario. It had been sent to the US for a potential customer to try who decided not to take it. It then ended up stuck in the US for an extended period and sent to Mike Tobias and ultimately returned to Ultimate Basses last week. I just registered the warranty last week with Mike.
It is, as a result, MINT. I am very unsure about whether or not I want to move it but I keep buying MTD's (because they are amazing) and then end up feeling like they are too perfect and beautiful for the type of gigs I am playing, so...I am considering trading it for a more rock oriented bass. I will consider straight trades for Dingwall Z2 or Z3's, the right mint Sadowsky NYC Modern, an Alleva Coppolo Jazz, or a Fodera Emperor Standard. I would also consider trades plus cash my way for Dingwall AB1's (darkglass loaded and strong preference for Wenge neck) , Skjold Slayers, older Sadowsky NYC moderns. There could be other basses as well but I will be very picky with this one. If you have something run it by me. Trade value is between 4500-4800.
