Here’s a mid-2000’s MTD Beast Fretless 4-string. Poplar body, maple neck, lined Wenge fretboard, 1 5/8” nut, 34” scale . Bartolini passive pickups. Color is a deep green sparkle, almost grey. Weighs 8 lbs., 1.5 oz.
A few minor scratches that are difficult to photograph. Some light scratches on the back of the body, around the bottom section of the heel pocket (where someone might reach under the G string for a pop) as well as a scratch on the back side adjacent to the control cavity cover. Other than that, very clean. There is a small section of the fretboard where a prior E string made a slight indentation.
This is one of the MTD basses made in the Czech Republic. Construction is very high in quality. Overall, the bass is in great shape. New set of flat-wound strings installed. Comes with a hard case in great condition.
