90’s Michael Tobias Grendel 5 string bass in excellent condition for it’s age. Plays great, asymmetrical neck, and sounds fantastic. 35” scale, bartolini electronics, rare maple neck. This one came to me with the original electronics stolen out of it and replaced with something not so impressive. An email to Mike T., and a call to bartolini. Douglas Somervell of Somervell guitars , who is somehow a bartolini expert, knew all about the Grendel and built an exact replacement and professionally installed it. The bass now sounds like it was intended to. It is in amazing condition, weighs right at 8 pounds, comes with a generic hard case, and has a new set of DR Blues on it. It has a few nicks and dings, mostly on the bottom edge but nothing major. Less than expected wear for how old it is. Great example of why MTD and bartolini jive so well together. Free shipping.
