I have been holding on to this bass because it is really the one that I go to whenever I am recording. I am going through a big effort to reduce the number of "things" in my life, so I'm listing this for sale, as well as a few others.
This bass is 34" scale at 19mm at the bridge. The original pickups will be included with the price of the bass.
I have written "Deluxe" in quotes because it didn't start out that way. This was the standard Saratoga that I added a Bartolini NTBM preamp and Bartolini NJ1 pickups to. The setup added by me (I have modified hundreds of instruments for myself and customers) and the knob layout was picked based on the Z series MTD basses. This is a pure player and is ready to go with a very nice gig bag, another set of strings (.45) will also be included if you don't like the orange (lighter -.40) strings. Oh, and recessed strap locks were installed to keep the strap in a normal position when locked. A set of strap-side locks will be included.
