UPDATE:
Based on questions I have received through PMs, I want to add the following:

The six plays and feels almost exactly like my 430-24 with differences in the neck width of course. I found it very comfortable with no neck dive. Tonally, it's got a nice thick yet defined palette. Even though the music I play mostly does not include it, the slap sound and the B are pretty sweet. In addition, the B string is solid, tight, and defined even compared to some 35 inch scales I have owned over the years. It balances well with the other strings too.

I do not have the width of the neck, and the bass was boxed up a few weeks ago for a buyer who has since apparently changed his mind. So, I am reluctant to unbox the bass to take those measurements. I emailed Mike Tobias about the neck width and since he does not have one currently in process, he cannot provide the measurements. I am willing to unbox the bass for that purpose if it is a deal breaker for a serious buyer. I can tell you that I have small hands and it's comfortable for me all the way up and down the neck. My arthritis does not flare up any more than it does when I play my four for extended periods of time.

My goal was mostly curiosity to see how a six would fit me. This opportunity happened while my 430-24 was being built and I found it too good to pass up. As it turns out, I'm more of a 4 string player in terms of how I support my band and I have no aspirations nor the skills to be a solo artist or featured member. So, in spite of really liking the bass, I'm letting it go in favor of a subsequent 430-24 build now in progress.
