The bass purge continues for me. As per my previous thread, I'm trying to thin the herd out (or at least add via subtraction).
Up next is my Music Man Bongo 4HH in Tangerine Pearl with White Pearloid pickgaurd. This was originally acquired via Fleabay in 2012. Not sure if the seller was messing with me , or they sucked at shipping, but when it arrived, one of the knobs on the pots snapped off. The pot was replaced with a new MusicMan pot and also had the input jack replaced. I also replaced the case with a brand new Music Man Bongo HSC.
Just like any other Bongo, it's what I call "Bongo Worn". It does have some dings and nicks on it as it was well loved and used, however none of them impact the sound. I've tried to capture the love marks in my photos but if you can't tell...
Neck:
Ding/Chip near the 6/7th fret, E side.
Small Dent 5th fret
First fret has some rubbing near the E string
Headstock:
Paint missing from the top (seems to be a common issue)
Body:
Pin sized dent on the horn
Scuffs scratches on the horn and side of the body
Dent/Chip bottom left side of the body.
Despite being "Bongo Worn" it's still a looker and great sounding bass. This was my go to bass, the one that hung on the stand next to my computer while all my others sat in cases. I'm not in a rush to sell this, however my GAS does have it sights set on another target.
Money talks, but feel free to PM me trades.
