Condition wise, it has never been played. I did install Hipshot Ultralites at some point, as well as finishing over the headstock w/ acrylic sealer. I removed the custom logo I made, a very slight spot can be seen w/ certain angles (I couldn't get it to capture). The heel is slightly shiny w/ a bit of accidental drip down the treble side as I was experimenting w/ a poly finish. This shouldn't be seen for the most part when installed on a body, and the rest of the neck is still original oil.

Latest questions

Hi,
I like thie neck. A couple of questions though:
Factory sealer / finish is what ?
Was the treble side drip at the heel was from an acrylic sesaler / finish applied on the entire neck? Front and back or?

Here's info on the original oil finish, from Musikraft: "For this option, we hand rub two coats of our own special blend of oils and buff the neck to achieve a satin finish. This results in a smooth and fast-playing neck." No idea what the oils are.

The drip is visible in the shot of the treble side heel, the slight "stripe" in the 6th photo. Just the heel back (hidden in the neck pocket) and the drip (facing the ground when playing) are visible the right lighting. I think its Minwax oil/water hybrid poly. Regardless, you won't touch it when playing.

The headstock face is satin acrylic sealer. Everything else (fretboard, neck, back of headstock) is original oil.

All helpful thanks. I gather the hi sho tuners you'd installed arre not available with the neck?

I've already sold them, unfortunately. But they're readily available at most parts retailers, they were Hipshot USA Ultralites, 1/2"
