I fell in love with Nash five-strings a little over a year ago and scooped this one up to be my stay at home/recording bass from Guitar Riot in Cleveland, OH while the other was out on the road. The action I’m able to achieve even with DR high beams (low tension rounds w round core) is insane. Unfortunately, at this point, I’ve realized that the nut width and the 35-inch scale length wear me down on standing gigs. I’ve had surgery for carpal tunnel in the past, so it’s not something I play around with.
I am mainlining a Stingray of late and giving Yamaha P basses a whirl. Putting this ad up as a feeler since these basses are too fantastic to collect dust. If they don’t move, I won’t be that sad.
