I purchased this secondhand from a fellow bassist in Nashville. Upon picking it up, I was immediately blown away with how resonant and even it was across the whole board. Having had a lot of hand issues and surgeries in my past, I was able to get this playing like a race car with DR high beams to keep me going on the road with Billy Currington last year. The Lollar P pick up is a joy to play - on the warmer side with a lot of low-mid heft. I replaced the pick up in the bridge with a Nordstrand split coil 51 style pick up for hum canceling in all positions.
The neck was a bit chunky on the bass side when I first purchased it, so I had my Luthier reshape it by hand to be more even. I definitely prefer where it wound up. Nut width right at 45 mm. Scale length 35”. String spacing is 18mm. These are hard to come by, so get it while you can. Feel free to message with any questions.

Bodies go through triage before production to keep within our weight and resonance specs. Heavy, ugly and clunky wood is rejected. Necks are of one piece maple or maple with rosewood fingerboard construction depending on the model. Fingerboards are a 10 radius and frets are a Dunlop 6105 or similar size. Neck shapes are Medium C, with an average of .83 depth at 1st fret and .95 depth at 12th fret. Vintage single action truss rods with heel adjust. Nuts are Tusq. All finish is Nitrocellulose Lacquer. No plastics, polys or other materials are used. This applies to the grain filling, undercoating and other prep coats. CTS pots, CRL switches, Switchcraft jacks and Sprague Orange-drop caps are standard.
