That is truly a great bass, whoever buys it will be fortunate. I have a '91 BT 4 string with koa, looks very much like that one. Fantastic instrument. GLWTS.

Hi, thanks for your comments.....
I would love to see some pictures, if you don't mind....

I am still hesitating about keeping it....this has a lovely Tone..!!!!

Here are a couple photos of mine, which is a 91 "BT Custom" koa (got it straight from Ken Smith's hands to mine at a NAMM show in Chicago), chrome hardware instead of gold, and 3 hole configuration (same Vol, bal, Bass/treb controls). Sorry they are not nice pics, they were actually taken for insurance documentation; beat-to-hell original Smith teardrop case visible in second photo). I've had it for 27 years, and might sell my children before selling it. Not in as good condition as yours-- it's been through some rough times right along with me, back in the day, and has some finish checking due to cold exposure. Still plays absolutely perfectly, though.

Let me know if you'd like me to delete this post/these photos from your For Sale thread after you've seen them, as they aren't relevant to your sale-- that's what I'd do-- but wanted to share them with you per your request.

GLWTS.

They are Well built, they have history,
IF you ever own one, TRY TO OWN a
BT Vintage model like this one!!!

Yep, it's the one I covet. I like the others but that particular version is what I want. The ONLY thing I don't know about is the neck profile. I prefer a beefy neck. The thin ( not narrow ) profile necks aren't comfortable for me personally. I like a C neck most and can live with a D.
