Nice looking and sounding old Czech roundback with violin corners probably made between WWI and WWII, 1920-39. Labeled, "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonius Faciebeit 1727 made in Czecholslavakia" Has the fancy purfling design on the back below the button. Bass has a new highest grade ebony fingerboard bought at International Violin Co., it's extended around two inches longer because it's a full size fingerboard on a 3/4 bass. Bass had a repaired soundpost crack on top. It's been cleated on each end. I'm thinking about getting a new basbar and a soundpost patch but that will increase the price by a quite a bit and it sounds good like it is and is an old repair. Also I had the neck heel repaired and pinned under fingerboard and was told by luthier it's very strong. call Jim 504-559-2384 if interested. $6500 like it is, the more I look at it the more I think I should be asking a higher price, I have a new set of Spirocore I'm going to have put on. email [email protected]
