OVNIFX Smoothie Compressor in very good shape. $160 shipped CONUS.
This is a fantastic compressor. It's the only one with a "colored" tone (a la the Diamond) that I've ever really wanted to keep. Unfortunately, I have to down size my board and am forced to cut a couple of things. This is first run # 10 of 16 signed by Cyrus (aka Bongomania).
Bongo's review says: "One way of describing the Smoothie is you take the tone, action, and blend of the Wampler, add the tilting EQ of the Diamond, plus a threshold indicator light and an input pad, and put them in the smaller package of the Keeley or Demeter", and I'd say that is pretty much spot on. What's really magic is that the EQ applies only to the compressed signal; it leaves the dry blend alone. I found that using this after my envelope filter (or envelope and octave) with a bit of dry mixed in and playing with the EQ, I was able to preserve the dynamics completely but make the bottom fatter and punchier. It really made the filter sound more "articulate".
This is from the first batch of pedals, so it had the dreaded foam rubber on the bottom but it has been completely removed. The adhesive left a bit of stickiness on the bottom that I wasn't fully get rid of, but it has heavy duty velcro on the bottom and doesn't affect the pedal. What looks like little scratches on the bottom in the pic is mostly little fuzz.
