A Palir 50P, which I got in a trade from another TBer. Wasn't really looking for a bass at the time but was curious and it looked really nice. It is absolutely the nicest bass I've ever had. Just not 100% the one for me, and I have other gear that needs to be replaced, so I might as well let it go. $1400 shipped, although I've never shipped a bass so I'll have to figure that out.
Built in October 2014 by Palir out of Sulphur, Louisiana. A swamp ash body, maple neck that feels fantastic. A fat, baseball bat C shape with a worn in feel that is perfect. I wasn't sure I'd like it, being as into skinny jazz necks as I am but it's my favorite part of this bass. Lollar pickups with a 4 way rotary switch for pickup selection (bridge only, neck only, both together parallel, both together series). Wears d'addario chromes. Basically thump city plus a J pickup. About 8.5 lbs. Includes tweed hardshell case. I'm fairly positive this is the bass shown in really nice photos on their website.
