It's not often that an instrument of this magnitude comes up for sale. It's my 2016 Pete Hilton Workhorse four string bass. If you know high end bass guitars, you know Pete's work. He was the lead builder for Carl Thompson for years.
His basses are feather light, made by hand in Los Angeles, and quite simply the most amazing instruments I have ever held in my hands. They practically play themselves, and their voices excel in any genre of music.
This bass is in excellent condition, with only two tiny tiny dings in it. One is so small it will not show in a photograph, the other is also quite tiny but there is a photo of the ding in the set.
The bass has never left my climate controlled, non-smoking office in the short year that I have had it. Personal circumstances dictate that I let it go, and it is with great regret that I do so. But she will make someone very happy for as long as they are able to play bass guitar. I simply cannot say enough about this instrument and the quality of the builder.
