I'm selling my PJB p-1 preamp. I used this with a Bergantino IP right for a while but I'm transitioning away from a rig with a separate pre. It was racked for it's whole life and so is in very good shape. There is a slight area of wear on the top and some little scratches from the rack but it's all quite minor.
The tone of this is very clean but still pretty fat, not sterile. Much like the Phil Jones bass buddy but more refined and with way more tone shaping options plus a crossover. The compressor is especially nice; subtle but really sounds good. You can also use the high pass out with the crossover frequency set low to get a variable high pass filter which works wonders with certain setups like the Bergantino IP stuff.
