Up for sale or trade is my 2014 model Gibson Thunderbird IV in Heritage Cherry. I bought this a few months ago new, but it was built at the end of 2013 according to the build sheet.
Factory fresh and minty. No chips dings or marks. Includes all gibson literature and original brown / pink case in 8/10 shape (a couple of scuffs).
I installed a Hipshot bridge and Schaller strap locks. The originals are included. Weighs 9lbs even (with the hipshot).
The only "issue" with this bass if there is one is that the action with the Hipshot is on the low side (even with the saddles up fairly high). If you play aggressively you may need to adjust the action up or go back to the original bridge. Currently strung with Marcus Millers.
I would prefer to trade. Looking for:
- Gibson Ripper
- AVRI Jazz
- Stingray 4
- Vintage Fenders
- Other 4 strings (G&L, Lakland, etc.)
