Howdy TB. It pains me to do this, but I"m not playing as much these days so the liquidation continues in an effort to put great gear into new homes where it will be loved and used. 
This is one of about 10 prototype Read Purity preamps, if I recall correctly. Works and sounds great, as you can read up here on TB. I got it here on TB a couple years or so ago and, with one exception (in a rack bag), it's been in my living room ever since. Hand-wired, point-to-point, high/low inputs, defeatable EQ, magical emphasis knob, high and low mid controls, deep and bright switches - it's got it all. Plus a very cool chrome-mirror faceplate in excellent condition (the rest is in good condition for its age with some rack rash on top). Only issue is the original tube covers (the metal cylinders that shield the tubes) got lost before I got it, so the replacements are not original and require a bit more effort to keep them in place (but they get there eventually). Not used that much by me since I got it, frankly, and never pushed hard.
These pres are getting harder to find these days, since they're not made any more, and this limited one is even rarer from what I can tell. I'll also toss in a couple extra vintage 12ax7 tubes - RCA and Jan Phillips, and a more recent Mesa one. The pre is currently loaded with a vintage Sylvania 12ax7 and a vintage 12au7 (I believe an amperex or RCA, but I'm not sure (markings get rubbed off over time).
$750 shipped CONUS, including the 3 extra tubes, an older but functional power cord, and a brand new single space SKB rack bag with internal frame (in great shape except one of the zipper pulls snapped off but it's still fully functional).
