First owner - purchased direct from Upton, completed in 2010. It’s been played very little as my electric schedule has been front and center for years. It’s spent it’s life in my studio held at 45% RH and is cosmetically and functionally 100%. Chocolate semi-gloss finish and a dark black ebony fingerboard with walnut side markers. Ebony tailpiece and endpin plug.
Upgrades include solo fingerboard and S/S tailpiece wire. Comes with new condition UB padded cover. Strung with “Gary’s Combo” which IIRC, is Spiros on E&A, Obligatos on D&G. Something new they were doing at the shop when I took delivery.
Also available are a very nice Brazilwood bow with abalone and mop inlays; brown hair. A fresh tub of SK type-W rosin and a generic steel stand. Price listed is for the bass and it’s cover. I can make an attractive offer for the lot.
