Rick Turner 5-String Fretless Renaissance - lined fretless, Walnut back and sides, cedar top. At least that's what the top and sides look like to me. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. This bass is in excellent playing condition, but it does have cosmetic defects. The finish on the top has separated in a few areas. There are likely surface cracks under the finish separation. Looks to me like these happened where the chambered body meets the center block. I've had this bass for about 15 years and it's been stable for the last 14. If you've got questions, ask. I want anyone interested in this bass to know exactly what they'll be getting.

I have this same bass and woods and strings but with an unlined board. It is a killer fretless, and that's a killer price. I have no relation to the seller, but someone should snap this up.

A Rick Turner Ren fretless can do the upright thing, but it also has incredible sustain and mwah depending on how you play it. The tonal palette is very diverse depending on both your right and left hand techniques.

Oh, and they're about five and a half pounds! :)
