This example is in mint condition and come with the original case with all of the case candy. It’s setup with low action and a new set of Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats. It weighs 9 lbs., 1 oz.

This model was recently discontinued from regular production and I suspect they will soon become less common and more expensive, so grab this one which is priced lower than any of the others currently available online. Free shipping!

I had one; it was a great player and surprisingly versatile. Ultimately I wanted something active, so I sold it on, but for those who prefer passive this bass is a gem; it feels comfortable and sounds soulful. It's not just for collectors ... I'd be curious to A/B it with the 4030!

Yeah, it is surprisingly versatile, and none of the videos on YouTube really do it justice. I would hold onto it if I didn’t have my eye on something else.

It wasn’t that long ago that these were unobtainable unless you were willing to spend over $10,000. It’s cool that Rickenbaker started making these again, and the quality is outstanding.

Now I’m talking myself into keeping it!
