I've got my ears and heart set on acquiring a Rob Allen fretless. I've been going back and forth on full scale or medium scale.
I've been playing medium scale basses almost exclusively the past few years, so my hands are used to it. And I wonder if the fretless sound I'm desiring really needs a full, 34" scale neck.
Sure, I'd be able to get used to it, but I have a couple of other 32" fretlesses that I like and keeping that consistency would be the easiest for me.
