Up for sale is my Rob Allen Mb-2 Fretless bass. This is a Rare 32" scale Mb-2. I am playing my Mouse 90% of the time and because I am need of a 31-32" scale 5 string, I must sell this rare bass to fund another rare bass. The MB-2 has a fat, dark upright-ish tone. Much more so than a 34" scale ash/maple Mb-2 that I used to own. Super Light - Great for long gigs. Medium scale is perfect for fretless, much easier in my opinion than 34" scale. These Rob Allen's are great for first time fretless players -very forgiving in the intonation area. It didn't take long for me to transition into fretless and my Mouse quickly became my main bass in 2 of my bands. I have very small hands so the Mouse has been perfect. This medium scale is also easy to play. One of my favorite things about Rob Allen Basses is the radiused fingerboard and rolled edges. Very comfortable, effortless basses.
Specs with up-charges in parenthesis:
