Culling the herd. For sale is my 2000 Roscoe SKB 3005. It would be called a Custom Series today. Burl myrtle top on figured myrtle body, maple/purpleheart/maple neck with a spalted purple heart board with body-matching headstock. Neck is amazing with like-new frets. Hipshot hardware and custom 3-band Bartolini electronics. Roscoes are known for their "P bass on steroids" tone and tight B string and this bass has growl and punch for days. This bass is in extraordinary, excellent condition without a mark on it. Comes with original Roscoe lightweight case & truss rod hex key. Perfectly balanced at 9lbs. 8oz. on my electronic scale. Priced to sell at $1700. shipped & insured to lower 48. I'm very fond of this bass, but it's not getting played & things have to move. No trades please.
