This is one incredible bass, but I've shifted to passive 4-strings and this beauty needs to be played! Ergonomically, it's by far one of the most comfortable, balanced, lightweight, and easy-playing basses I've been fortunate enough to play. And you probably already know about the tone, clarity, and punch Sadowsky basses of this era deliver if you're reading this. Cosmetically, it's in excellent condition with the minor exceptions of the chipped finish near the input jack and some slight scuffing where the headstock rested on a stand (prior to my ownership), neither of which are noticeable when on stage. The open grain on the rosewood fingerboard is especially beautiful on this bass. It's currently strung with a brand new set of Sadowsky Blue Label flats (see package in photos), but this bass sounds amazing with rounds or flats. It's currently set up with very low action and plays perfectly everywhere on the neck.
This is a 2010 Sadowsky custom order, signed by Roger. I bought it here on TB in 2015. Included with the bass are a like-new Sadowsky Portabag with detachable shoulder straps, a second pickguard for switching P pickup back to conventional configuration (it's currently in the reverse P config), a super-comfortable Sadowsky neoprene strap, Dunlop strap locks (on strap and bass), Scratch Pad finish protector, and the original truss rod/bridge saddle adjustment tools. I can also throw in a few old sets of Sadowsky strings if the buyer wants them.
With all of the extras and CONUS shipping, I''m asking $3,950.
