Hello,
Up for sale is my Sadowsky NYC Vintage 4-String. It's gorgeous!
Without question, this bass is by far one of the most beautiful and best sounding instruments I have ever played.
This baby was originally sold in August of 2014. The original paperwork is included.
I had planned to keep several basses for this upcoming season, but things have changed. As much as I REALLY LOVE this bass, I am now forced to part with it. This baby needs to find a good home.
It is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures just don’t do it justice.
It never left my house. I only used it for very light practicing, so there may be a few marks in the pick guard and signs of very light wear, etc.. Otherwise, it’s just gorgeous. Plays like a dream.
It sounds like, well… it sounds like only a Sadowsky can sound.
You will love the unique finish. It’s a caramel burst over quilted maple. Has a very warm visual feel to it. The neck is maple with a Madegascar Rosewood fingerboard.
Being a Vintage series, it has the slightly smaller body size. It’s very comfortable to play and it’s light – weighing in at around 8 lbs.
Serial number is 6625. Bass originally sold for $4,800.
It has the very convenient drop D tuner.
It comes with the (essentially) brand new hard shell case that came with the bass originally.
Also included is the following:
- Brand new Sadowsky Guitar Polish
- Brand new Sadowsky Micro Fiber Polishing Cloth
- 1/16” Bridge Wrench
- Key for Hard Shell Case
- Original Paperwork
From Sadowsky:
FINISH | Caramel Burst

FINGERBOARD | Madegascar Rosewood, 12" Radius, 1 1/2" Nut Width

I may have missed something. Please ask questions.
Thanks!
