Greetings! This Sandberg VM5 Nighthawk is probably my most versatile bass. The only reason why I'm selling it is to make a purchase on a signature bass I played at NAMM.
What I love about this bass is that it provides a clear and focused sound that can cut through the mix. The reverse p gives it an even, smooth, and thumpy "whomp". The MM pickup has that mid range punch. It is a versatile bass.
I enjoyed the pickups in combination but individually they shine!!!
Pickup Configuration: The P-MM (split-coil/humbucker)
Active/Passive Electronics: It features a 2-band (Bass & Treble Active) EQ that can be switched to passive via a push/pull volume knob. Active is great, but that passive p sound, to me, is really nice. It also has a tone control in passive mode.
34" Scale
8.8 lbs
Dunlop Strap Locks
Build Quality: Pure Excellence in Quality and the feelnis great.
Willing to ship to CONUS
