It incorporates a 1.33" fully chambered single piece, of Mahogany topped with a bookmatched 1/4” Paduak top.
The back of the guitar is a single piece of Mahogany. The body has been completely chambered and has an absolutely amazing finish. The body is hand carved and designed to minimize weight and improve resonance.
The neck is Mahogany with a stunning Jatoba Fretboard. Hand laid Turquoise Markers with black side dots. The neck has been fashioned to a thin "C” shape with a comfortable circumference making it easy to play and reach strings. The nut is 38mm wide.
The fretboard is radiused to a 12” for playing comfortability and a has a slightly rounded top. I only use Jescar fretwire from Philadelphia Luthier.
The neck is finished with a Tru Oil based finish and waxed. This is the smoothest neck ever.
Slotted with a bone nut.
The guitar is equipped with a 11.1K fully encased P Bass Pickup. These pickups have great sustain and attack. The tone is set with an old school .047upf Orange drop capacitor. The guitar is chambered under the pickups through the guitar giving it increased sustain.
The guitar has a Poly Blend cured finish. This helps keep the weight of the instrument down and keeps the body resonate. This is a set neck guitar.
