Mint as new, this is a VERY nice bass for the money, reminds me of the early 90s Fender Japan "PLUS" series. Awesome neck w/ satin finish, 18MM bridge spacing, 8 lbs. on the nose, balances perfectly in your lap or on a strap and the sandblasted woodgrain looks great. The stock pickups and preamp are totally fine but this would be an ultra-killer with some upgrades. Bass is mint as new I just have too much stuff and need to move it along. No gigbag but it will be well packed and double-boxed.

Sweet bass. The sandblasted black looks sharp. Would look great whether someone's playing a tuxedo gig, a jeans 'n T-shirt gig, or anything in between.

Is the J a single coil J?

I'm debating getting back into 5-strings.

If nothing else, at least I can give you a "good luck with the sale" well-wish and a thread-bump from a fellow New Jersey bassist.

the J is a single coil low noise alnico pickup
