Details

Purchased new by me last year. Currently strung with EB Steels and plays great. Love the sound, but probably should have gotten the rosewood board instead of maple. Looks killer and sounds great. All stock with the exception of the strap buttons with are Dunlop Dual Designs. About the only mark on it is a slight indentation around the bridge pickup upper route as I had installed Aguilar pickups (not included but available for sale on TB) and they were a bit snug.

Includes the Marcus Miller gig bag also in like new condition.

Price includes shipping to CONUS.

Not really looking for trades as I really am jonesing for one of the new Stingray 5 30th anniversary models, but I might consider a Lakland 55-02 and would throw in some cash.

I use the wide strap as well but have two blown shoulders - old ski injuries. At least I was having fun when I did each of them ;-). Keeps me in the 8.5 or under range ...

I did sound a few weeks ago for a band where the bass player had the same bass. We had him via DI and that bass sounded just fine to me. Could have been a Fender, Lull, Sadowsky... We were 70' out at FOH. I scoped the headstock when changing his band out for the next act. Was surprised to see Sire honestly.

Quality is really great. Not as good as my MIA Stingrays, but better than most imports I have played. Sire is a great instrument at a great price point. Again, if I bought the rosewood I probably would be keeping it as it is great bang for the buck. Definitely understand the shoulder issues, though!
