For sale Skjold Lions Pride 5 String

I recently acquired this Skjold Lions Pride. While I really like it, I am itching for a Lakland again.

Trades considered for Lakland 55-94 or a DJ5 or 55-02 plus Paypal. Maple boards preferred, 9.5lbs. or less. Feel free to run other trades by me, but I'm really wanting a Lakland again.

**I was approached by another long-time TB'er who has a Lakland I'm interested in buying or trading for. He is interested in 4 string passive P or JJ basses. If you are interested in my Skjold, are OK with a three-way trade, and you have a nice 4-string that he might like, feel free to send me an offer.**

I could also possibly do a trade involving a bass amp or cab, too. I'm happy to meet up locally, but I have a box ready to go for this baby.

• 18mm spacing.
• 1 7/8" nut.
• 9 lbs 2 oz on my digital scale.
• Butternut body and headstock face.
• Super sweet 3 piece maple neck with body matched headstock.
• 35” scale Pau Ferro fretboard that looks more like Rosewood with a nice grain.
• SC-1 pickups designed by Sheldon Dingwall (Split coils) that have a ton of beef in them.
• Skjold/East Preamp with treble, bass, and fully adjustable para mids control. Also has a passive tone control that works in both active and passive modes. This may be the sweetest Preamp that I’ve ever used and is a beast to boot. I thought my 3-band EMG and Bart preamps had tons of tones, but with the passive tone control, this thing is on another level tonally. The playability is off the charts.
  
• Black hardware: Hipshot USA ultralight tuners. Hipshot Fully adjustable top load bridge with string spacing currently set to 18 mm.
• Neutrik locking recessed output jack.

Please be aware that the pictures give the bass an orange-y hue. However, the bass is more of a tobacco burst. There is no orange in person.

Action currently set up nice and low and is an absolute joy to play. Very well balanced on the strap.

There’s a couple of very small surface nicks in the finish on the back of the body about half the size of a dry rice grain that don’t show in the pics very well. The neck and body front and sides are mint with some minor use swirling on the lower horn that can only be seen in certain lighting very close up.
