Tried to clear up situation by explaining that a local friend had already been interested in this instrument prior and offered me more, which is something I should have taken into consideration before listing it on here. I offered to honor the original deal to make it up too him, but he declined out of spite.

Don’t know how ‘spite’ was detected in a decline consisting entirely of “Bridge burnt … I’ve moved on,” but it says something that seller understands that the neg feedback is appropriate.
