PRICE DROP TO $1900.00

I am selling my US Spector Forte 4. I am the original owner and this bass has been extremely well taken care of. There are no scratches, dings or dents. There is a small shiny area in the matte finish just above the P pickup from my thumb.

I've upgraded the preamp to a Darkglass Tone Capsule and added a Hipshot D tuner. I'll include the original Aguilar OBP-2 preamp and the original tuning peg. Will ship in Spector hard shell case.

I'm sure it'll sell in no time. If I wasn't heading overseas on a trip this month I'd likely already be scheming up a way to make it nine.

Yes I second that, I have a Forte 4 w/ the Darkglass pre and it is unbelievable. I, too, would be scheming up a way to grab this if I didn't already have one.

Can you tell me what the main differences are btwn that and a Kramer/US NS2?

As the owner of 2 Fortes myself, and having owned a couple NS2s over the years as well, the Forte models are every bit of the the NS2 line without the Wild woods and finishes or the abalone inlays. This price is absolutely killer. This is an early generation Forte with solid maple wings. The DGTC is an amazing compliment as well to theses basses. This is as good of a deal as you will get on a US custom shop bass.

The nut width is just a hair under 1 5/8 inches so in between a P and a J neck although a little thicker front to back. Not a baseball bat at all.

It would have been sold long ago if it weren't for the greedy Canadian government and their import duties, taxes, taxes on the import duties, service charges on the taxes, and duty charges on the taxes and surcharges. Then there's the 30% devaluation of the Canadian dollar.
