Details

I am emerging from the woodwork offering my 5 string Spector Rebop fiver in oil finish Zebrano.

I've been away from the forum for a few years thanks to kids and work. I've lately been trying to divest myself of anything I'm not using that would be better enjoyed by others.

This beauty has been upgraded with dual EMG DC's and an EMG BQS preamp wired for 18V. This pre has stacked bass and treble as well as sweepable mids. Lot's of tones on offer. I will say that this is a pretty aggressive sounding bass. If you dig pillowy smooth marshmallowy P bass thump, it's not for you. I suppose you can get there by dialling out most of the treble and mids but thats not the point. This bass sounds huge, thick and has loads of Spector growl. The B is awesome. No flabbiness. 35in scale.

It has also been upgraded with hipshot ultralight tuners.

I will include the original EMG HZ pickups, non trim tone pump, original tuners and tin of warwick wax.

It comes with the original Spector GigBag, so in the interest of it making it to you intact, I will take the neck off and pack the pieces together in one box. Much bubblewrap and crumpled newspaper will be used.

In the interest of full disclosure, because nobody likes surprises, there are a few blemishes I will describe. I have included photos:

- The Hipshots (installed when I got it) were apparently installed by a monkey with a crescent wrench as the nuts are a bit scratched. Would be easy to touch up with a sharpie but I wanted to be honest about them.

- The Headstock as a tiny ding and some swirls.

- There are a few tiny dings around the outer edge of the body.

- The soft Alder back has some really shallow scratches. Really more impressions than scratches. I couldn't get them to show up in photos. Probably from a belt or shirt buttons or something. they're really quite minor. There are no dents or scratches in the top.

For price lets go with $800 US Paypal'd and shipped within North America. No trades please.
