I have a brand spanking new Spitfire P bass pickguard in Vintage Red Speckled 60’s style with light relic that while extremely beautiful and fiery, isn’t exactly the look I was shooting for on a project bass I have. It’s a little TOO fiery for my bland and boring tastes lol. I would love to trade for anyone who has a darker and/or subtle 60’s type Spitfire tort that is looking for one more like the one I have. I have one picture that is a little darker than reality...I will take better pics tonight.
I personally think this would be a knockout on a white or black P (which I will save it for if I can’t find someone to trade with), but for my particular sunburst P and it’s shade, it’s just not jiving with me.
