Hi!
Here's a basically new squier dimension neck with a rosewood board.
P width, thin profile, and sets up great.

You have a squier dimension with a maple board and want rosewood?

Maybe want a neck to make fret- less, so you have both available?

Here ya go!

$100.00 shipped conus only

I only took it off because I wanted a maple board with a 1.5 nut. I bought the neck from a modern player dimension, and am using that.

Hey Steve,
Just bought the same Squier Dimension IV you have and I want to do the same thing you did. My neck is rosewood and I would also rather have a all maple neck. I checked Stratosphere also for dimension necks since you need those for the 5 hole pattern but all I found were "Crafted in China" or American that cost more than the bass itself. Did you get one of the Chinese maple necks or did they have a more reasonably priced Indonesian or Mexican neck when you got yours.?
Thanks
Alan

Hi Alan-
Mine is a crafted in China Fender Modern player neck. It's a very snug fit, but lined up perfectly, and set up amazingly. I bought it loaded from the stratosphere, and paid $199 plus shipping. It's not a cheap mod, but well worth it in my opinion!
Thanks-
Steve

Thanks Steve for the info and the pics. I'm just a little leery of getting a Chinese neck when everything I have been reading about comparing countries of origin seem to point to Chinese being very hit and miss. So as a result and considering how many major guitar manufacturers have gone to Indonesia and specifically to Cort to make their products, I have read nothing but good things coming from that factory. But the word about the Chinese factory which is the next step down on the full manufacturing process is not so positive. Again, it seems to be much more "hit and miss". It looks like you got a "hit" and the guitar looks fabulous with that maple neck. But I'm still not sure.
I know that the Indonesia factory makes maple necks because they have them for the other two color choices so I might just hold off until the they show up on the Stratosphere. Perhaps they don't have them yet because no one wants to give up their maple necks. Maybe I'll fire off an email to the Stratosphere and let them know that they need to pick up a couple maple neck Dimensions to part out to their customers.
Thanks again for the info.
Alan
